We had an awesome Christmas this year. It is the first one I have been home for the entire time in four years. That helped make it an extra special one for me. I was senior enough that by sitting reserve with Southwest I could get Christmas, New Years, and our family party off. It worked like a champ. Heather's parents were able to spend three days with us over Christmas as well. That helped make it special. We had a blast. The main thing we got the girls this year was a set of scooters from Costco. They are battery powered but can really zip around. I wasn't sure Gabrielle would be big enough, but she seems to be doing just fine. The girls love to take them to the local park and go crazy with them. We've also had some extra lessons on road safety as well. So far, they seem to be doing well with it all. I also got Heather a set of couches she has been wanting for the front room. The girls gave me a fantastic gift... a back massager. Hopefully I can get my kinks worked out this way. Heather continues to be doing OK with the pregnancy. She still feels sick a lot of the time and struggles with finding food that will cooperate with her body. She was ready to have this kid about 8 months ago I think. At the last doctors appointment, he told her the baby was still cooking. He is full term, but is nice and warm in there it seems. Madison had to be induced and Gabrielle was a week late. If history is a guide, we will be welcoming ? into the world around the very end of January or beginning of Feb. We can't wait!!!
